St Germain Radar Racing Action! -- Jan 21-22, 2011
Great turnout this weekend for the St Germain Radar Races, including an impressive group who braved the Bikini Run for charity! Thank you to the St Germain Radar Racers for making this such a successful event and to the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club, St Germain and Sayner EMS, and all the other volunteers who contribute their time and effort.

St Germain Radar Runs and Drag Races - January 21-22-23
On Sunday, the snowmobile racing continues as St Germain Drag Races commence on Little St Germain Lake! Click here for info about Sunday's snowmobile drag races.

In 2011 the event is being held on Friday January 21st (11:00-4:00) and Saturday January 22nd (10:00-4:00).
Saturday Events include:
Camps Supervalu Grocery Cart Races 1 PM
Angry Dave's Bikini Run 2 PM
World Speed Record Exhibition Sleds 3 PM
Timbers Pit Stop serving beer and beverages on the lake.
Badger Glass Food and Music Court
Trophy Racing on the Thunderbird Pass 1000 Fun runs on the Twilight Bar 660

Sunday Events include:
Food and Music served by the Bo Boens Snowmobile Club Drag Racing sponsored by the St. Germain Drag Racers 100% payout for 3 lanes on 550' shaved ice. Click here for the link St Germain Drags
The event is held on the West end of "Little St Germain" lake near the intersection of Paton Road and Hwy 70(map). We have trailer parking on the ice(ice parking is safe) next to the return lane. Follow the signs from "Angry Daves" to the track !
Entrance Fees:
- 660' on Snow $5 each or 5 runs for $20
- 1000' on Shaved Ice $25 entrance fee includes 3 runs extra runs are $5 each or 5 runs for $20
- $40 entrance fee for "Open Modified Unlimited Class"
The Prizes
All classes are sponsored for trophies and prizes. Radar Run Prizes will be awarded at "The Timber's" after the race on Saturday (5:30). Each year the top speed driver is awarded the "Snow King" trophy and will be held on display at the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame! It has been snowing on and off all week and snowmobile groomers have been out on the St Germain Bo-Boen trails and others across Vilas County. It's going to be a beautiful weekend for snowmobiling and the World Championship Snowmobile Derby in Eagle River!

Amazing Snowmobile Ride - Sunday - January 9
Snowmobile trails, even through town, were in decent shape and out in the woods they were fabulous! We had a terrific day... and now that one of our kids has his snowmobile permit, I am officially a rider and get to take lots of photos:) -Diane

St Germain Snowmobile Trails - Saturday January 8
We were out for a snowmobile ride today around St Germain and enjoyed the Bo-Boen trails... much improved after the 5-6 inches of snow we received the past few days.

Snowing today... :)
We've received about 3 inches at least in the last day and snow is expected to continue into the evening. Bo-Boen trail conditions are expected to improve and we'll have better information for you tomorrow.
