Snowmobiling Continues... conditions fair/poor

Guests at the hotel headed out riding again today -- telling us that conditions away from town are considerably better then what we see from the highways. Warm temps have caused softening and melting on the trail, leaving a crusty base and deteriorating conditions. Here are photos from Tuesday afternoon on the Bo-Boen snowmobile trail right behind the hotel:

We are watching forecasts and hoping for more snow. At this point snowmobile trails are still rideable and many considered decent, although some have parked their sleds waiting for conditions to improve.
